YOUR PERSONAL WALKTHROUGH
Welcome, Krista.
A clearer day for the team.
A clearer plan for the patient.
We built this tour around the work your team does every day: preparing the visit, documenting care, getting the patient home with a clear plan, and following through.
Your teeth diagram idea is built in. Start with it below, then watch the film and follow Maya through the office workflow.

KRISTA’S TEETH DIAGRAM
Your idea is in the app.
You wanted patients to see exactly which tooth was treated. The numbered diagram now follows their care and appears on their personal printed summary.

FIRST, SEE THE WHOLE PICTURE
From the office to home.
The office overview and tooth timeline below were added after the film.
THEN, FOLLOW THE WORK
One patient. Every handoff.
Nine short stops.
Choose a chapter or use Next.
01 / SEE THE OFFICE DAY
Start with what needs attention.
Krista, this is your starting point. See where each visit stands and which handoffs need an owner.

- What the team does
- Filter by team or visit stage. Assign an open action and add a short internal handoff note.
- What you can see
- Check-in, chairside care, summary review, checkout and completed visits. Open the source record directly from an action.
- What stays separate
- An assignment coordinates work. A staff member still records whether the actual handoff is complete.
02 / ENTER & REVIEW CARE
Record the visit once. Review the wording.
The clinical team checks history, medications and allergies, then records the findings, treatment and next step.

- Staff input
- Use the visit form for the procedure, chairside notes, patient goals, pharmacy and follow-up.
- AI assistance
- Draft patient-friendly wording from those details. The team can edit it and compare it with the recorded source.
- Release control
- Review and approval come before the summary reaches the patient. The example review in this tour is simulated.
03 / PRINT THE PERSONAL PLAN
Send every patient home with a clear page.
Maya’s visit produces a one-page summary with what happened, what to do next, pharmacy details and follow-up.

- On the spot
- Open the reviewed PDF and print the patient’s own sheet at checkout.
- In the patient app
- The same released summary remains available when the patient gets home.
- Finish the handoff
- Record that the sheet was printed, instructions were discussed, follow-up arranged and the note entered in Dentrix.
04 / EXPLORE THE PATIENT APP
Dental and medical history, together.
The personal app brings dental care, medical history, medicines, allergies, blood work, reports and treatment plans into one place.

- Follow the history
- Browse previous visits, tooth-level records and the patient’s next planned steps.
- Understand the results
- View dated lab values and their source reports. The demo includes years of fictional blood-work history.
- Add outside records
- The supplied sample report import works. General patient PDF/image uploads and connected lab or health-system feeds are planned.
05 / KRISTA’S TEETH DIAGRAM
Your teeth diagram, brought into the app.
Krista, the teeth diagram was your idea. It is now part of the patient app and the printed visit summary. Try the same drawings here: follow tooth #30 before removal, after removal and through later treatment stages.
MAYA BENNETT · FICTIONAL PATIENT · TOOTH #30
Choose a stage to see how her diagram changes.
RECORDED IN DEMO · SEPTEMBER 9, 2026
After removal
Tooth #30 is marked as removed. The dashed outline and cross identify where the tooth used to be.
This reflects Maya’s fictional visit record. It is a diagram, not her scan.
Patient’s right is on the left. Tooth #30 is the lower right first molar.
- The recorded event
- Show the tooth on a numbered diagram and mark the removal in the patient’s visit record.
- Room for later treatment
- The model supports grafting, healing, implant placement, an abutment, temporary restoration and final crown.
- The right image for the stage
- Staff can attach a reviewed image to a stage. Planned treatment and illustrative future examples stay distinct from completed care.
06 / EXPLAIN THE SCANS
Make an image easier to talk through.
The image viewer gives the team a way to point, explain and answer questions while preserving the original image.

- X-ray explanations
- Click a prepared marker to focus on an area and read a plain-language explanation.
- CT exploration
- Move through axial, coronal and sagittal views, with slice controls, brightness, contrast and zoom.
- Current limits
- The overlays are prepared educational examples, not live AI scan analysis. Clinical DICOM ingestion and verified scan interpretation remain future work.
07 / BRING IN EQUIPMENT FILES
Keep the export with the right visit.
iTero Element models and Solea documentation have a place in the patient’s visit, with staff review before patient access.

- iTero Element
- Accept supported STL, PLY and ZIP surface exports and open them in the model viewer.
- Solea by Convergent Dental
- Record the treatment documentation and attach supporting reports, images or logs.
- Review before sharing
- Confirm patient, visit, source and file details. Draft cases stay separate from patient-visible releases.
08 / CLOSE THE FOLLOW-UP LOOP
Know which patient needs a call.
Aftercare instructions, pharmacy contacts, check-ins and callbacks belong to the same visit record.

- Make next steps easy
- Patients can tap a phone number or pharmacy directions. The demonstration uses fictional numbers and prescriptions.
- Review the response
- The day-one and day-three workflow flags replies that need attention. Grace’s example shows the exact simulated message beside the call form.
- Record the outcome
- The team saves whether they reached the patient, left voicemail or could not reach them, with a dated note.
09 / FIT IT INTO THE PRACTICE
Begin with a supported Dentrix handoff.
The first practical workflow keeps the team in control of what enters the practice record.

- Working demo today
- Visit input, editable summary drafts, reviewed PDFs, the patient views, supported equipment-file review and team coordination.
- Manual handoff
- Copy or download the reviewed note and enter it into Dentrix. Mark that step complete after it happens.
- Before a real pilot
- Confirm the Dentrix edition and approved integration route, privacy and account controls, device exports, printer setup and staff responsibilities.

Notes stay in this browser. Copy or download them if you’d like to share them with the team.
What this link gives you
A guided presentation of the working prototype, with captured demo screens, narrated videos and sample PDFs. The editable practice workspace is a separate deployment. Direct Dentrix and lab connections, live patient messaging and clinical scan interpretation are not active in this walkthrough.
